CENTRAL MONTCALM HIGH SCHOOL: 0.00
The JV Volleyball team came out strong in the first set against Central Montcalm tonight defeating them 25-7. In the second set the team struggled at the beginning and then fought their way back to win the second set 25-21.
Leading the Lady Dawgs tonight at the net was Amelia Griffith with 7 kills, Alli Shaw had 6 kills and Marley Piselli added 5 kills. Shaw led the team with 13 assists and Emma Hoppough added 5 assists. Shaw led the team at the service line scoring 12 points with 3 aces. Piselli served up 6 points. Avery Hoppough led the team defensively with 10 digs while Ariana Frias chipped in 8.
The Lady Dawgs will be back in action on Saturday, September 14th at 9:00 am when they host their Invitational. The team is 8-2-2 on the season and 1-0 in conference play.
