The JV girls volleyball team opened their Tri tonight against NorthPointe Christian losing in three sets 23-25, 26-24, and 11-15.  The girls had a rough start to the evening and couldn't find consistency on the court.  In the next match against Cedar Springs they again started out slow and then found their game winning in two sets 26-24 and 25-11.

Leading the team at the net tonight was Amelia Griffith with 16 kills, Marley Piselli had 12 kills and Ariana Frias added 9.  Alli Shaw led the attack with 20 assists and Emma Hoppough added 5 assists.  Shaw, Piselli and Frias led the team with consistent serving. Shaw had 6 aces and Piselli and Brooklynn Burhans added 3 each. Avery Hoppough led the defense with 29 digs, Shaw had 16 digs and Frias added 15 digs.

The girls will be back in action on Tuesday, September 10th at 5:00pm in Olivet.  The team is 6-2-2 on the season.
