HASTINGS HIGH SCHOOL: 1
The JV Volleyball team traveled to Haslett to compete in a Tri against Bath and Haslett, The Bulldogs' first match up was against Bath. The girls started out slow and ending up dropping the first set 20-25. The girls were able to bounce back in the second set and won 25-18. They carried that momentum into the third set defeating Bath 15-9. In the second match of the night the girls came out strong and defeated Hastings 25-12 and 25-20.
Josie Lee led the team with 16 kills. Amelia Griffith added 12 and Tessa Lemke had 8. Paislie Patterson led the team at the service line with six aces. Gabbi Meyers added three aces while Bailey Hewett, Addie Bowne and Kylie Leonard each had two.
The JV team will be back in action on Tuesday, September 26th at 5:00 pm when they travel to Lansing Sexton. The girls are 17-1-4 on the season.
