The Ionia JV Volleyball Team hosted a quad today against Holt, Fowlerville and Portland High Schools.  The Lady Dawgs started the evening facing off against Holt High School.  The girls won the first set, 25-16, and ended up dropping the next two, 21-25, 5-15  They girls regrouped and came out strong against Fowlerville, winning both sets 25-14 and 25-16. The evening finished off with our rivals from Portland. The girls kept their momentum and played two nice sets winning 25-14 and 25-18.

The team improved their serving today, serving 89% with 21 Aces. The defense started out slow on the day, but finished strong with good passing from Paislie Patterson, Hannah Shields and Ebony Williams. The team was led in serving by Alexias Daugherty and Kylie Leonard. Layla Delnay and Molly Waterman led the team with 8 and 5 kills.

The Lady Dawgs will return to action on Tuesday, August 30 at 5:00pm against Lansing Sexton at home.
