CHARLOTTE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 0
The Bulldogs traveled to Charlotte tonight and took on the Orioles for the second time this season. Alexias Daugherty served an impressive 14 points, 7 of which were aces. Brooklyn Fletcher added 4 more aces and Mimose Sandborn had one as well. Ionia took the first set 25-5.
The Lady Dawgs were fired up and ready to start the second set. Again, Alexias Daugherty put up 6 more aces leading the Bulldogs to a strong start. Lilly Reams had two kills and several assists. Addyson Roundtree covered her teammates well and had three nice digs. Kathryn Brown had 6 digs and Mimose Sandborn had three as well. Ionia took the second set 25-2.
Join us next Tuesday as we travel to Portland and face our rival Raiders. Go Dawgs!
