The Ionia JV Volleyball Team took on Saranac tonight at home. The Lady Dawgs were eager to redeem themselves after facing a tough loss against Portland Tuesday night.  Fired up and full of energy, the Bulldogs quickly took the lead in game one, with Alexias Daugherty serving up an ace and putting down a kill. Lilly Reams and Emma White also put up an ace point in the first set. Lilly Reams, Julia Stewart, and Molly Waterman all had two kills each in the first set, adding to the Ionia victory of 25-18.  

The second set started off just as strong as the Bulldogs quickly took back possession of the serve, with Alexias Daugherty putting up an impressive 10 service points, two of which were aces. Kathryn Brown was aggressive in both sets and put up 10 digs. Brooklyn Fletcher also had two kills in the second set, helping to secure the win against Saranac tonight. Overall, the Lady Dawgs played well and had great communication throughout each set.
