Ionia Hosts Multiple Opponents in Second Home Quad

The Bulldogs took on Central Montcalm in the first match of the evening. The first two sets were a close battle, but Ionia fell short 19-25 in both. A few small miscommunications brought the Bulldogs down in set three. Central Montcalm took the match.

Ionia played Hesperia in the second match of the night. Better teamwork allowed for another close set, but the Dawgs couldn't quite pull off the win. Hesperia took the first set 20-25. Ionia fought back in the second and third set , but again, fell short, 23-25 and 7-15. Hesperia took the second match. 

The Bulldogs had one more match to go. They were hungry for a win at home! The Dawgs took on Ogemaw for their third and final match of the night. Ionia lost the first set, but finally regrouped in the second and third and pulled off the win! 12-25, 25-23, 15-10. 
 

Ionia JV Overall Record: 8-8 

Ionia takes on St. John's next Tuesday at home. Go Dawgs!
