The Bulldogs played hard tonight and earned the "W"against Alma, securing a spot in the District final game tomorrow night against Central Montcalm!  There was a lot of excitement in the gym, the sets were close and the fans were loud.  Ionia took the 1st set 25-21; Alma won the 2nd set 20-25; then the Bulldogs pushed ahead and took the next 2 sets 25-21 and 25-18.

The chemistry on the court tonight was the best of the season.  The Lady Dawgs were focused, they communicated and they had the fight in them.  Sophomore, Tess Griffith scored 14 kills tonight, one of them, the game point to win the match!  Kassidy Casillas was  putting the ball where it needed to be setting up 30 kills!  Paige Castillo had some unbelievable saves!  Everyone was moving, cheering and playing hard!
