The first 2 sets were close, Grand Ledge taking set one 25-23 and Ionia taking set two 25-23.  The Bulldogs struggled in the 3rd set letting Grand Ledge win 25-17.  In the 4th set, Paige Castillo served 7 points, 4 of them Aces.  The Bulldogs were ahead 7-0, but could not hang on to that lead, losing 21-25.  GraceMarie Martinez was on her toes tonight protecting the court and handling everything sent to her. Grand Ledge could not handle Michaela Castle's power serves, earning 8 service points.  

The Bulldogs are off until next Monday when they play at Hastings.
