Girls Golf vs. Central Montcalm Purple Match

CENTRAL MONTCALM HIGH SCHOOL: 272

The Ionia Girls Golf team competed tonight against Central Montcalm for the annual Purple Match. Prior to the match, the team participated in a “ball drop” and remembered those who have fought cancer. The Bulldogs finished the Purple Match strong and pulled off their 3rd win of the season, scoring 225-272. Ionia’s top scorers were Lila Redder (42) and McKenna White (54). The team will play again Tuesday, September 19 for their last home match of the season as well as their Senior Night.
