Ionia Varsity Girls Golf competed in their last home match of the season today against Belding. This was also the kickoff to Purple Week for Ionia as they started the match with a ceremony and ball drop. Unfortunately, the Bulldogs fell only a few strokes short to the Black Knights, 222-215. Lila Redder shot a 44, followed by Gabbi Meyers with a 52. The team will play again Wednesday, September 25 at Willow Wood in their CAAC White Division League Championship.
