Ionia Varsity Girls Golf played in the Lakewood Invite today at Morrison Lake golf course for their first 18 hole match of the season. The team tied for fourth place with Pewamo-Westphalia with a score of 458. Lila Redder was the overall tournament champion with a score of 85, followed by Gabbi Meyers in eleventh place with a 110. The team will play again Monday, September 23 at home against Belding, kicking off Purple Week.
