The Ionia Girls Golf team began their season with a home match today at Shadow Ridge Golf Course. The girls went up against the Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates, and unfortunately fell short with a score of 299-284. Ionia’s top scorers were Lila Redder (50), Victoria Gutierrez (55), and McKenna White (62). The Bulldogs will be back at it again Friday, August 18 at the Portland Raider Invitational at Portland Country Club.
