The Girls Varsity Golf team kicked off Purple Week a bit earlier than the rest. Ionia hosted Greenville at Shadow Ridge for the Purple Match, where they had a 50/50 raffle and ceremony in honor/memory of those who have fought cancer. The girls played well overall and had some great shots on the home course. Team leaders were Victoria Guttierez (54), Avery Haney (58), and Kennedee Ward (58). The Varsity team will be on the road Monday, September 12 at Bonnie View Golf Course in Eaton Rapids at 3:00 P.M.
