Bulldogs Hoop Team Raise their Record to 13-2

Ionia hosted Charlotte in CAAC White Division Leauge play and earned a hard fought 44-39 win. The win keeps the Bulldogs one game lead over Lansing Catholic. Lance Atkinson led the way with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Clay Currigan added 9 points and Travis Tucker Jr. 8 points. Rounding out the scoring for the Bulldogs was Guage McQueen and Miles Gregory with 3 points each and Lane Thomas, Jimmy Peabody and Caden Brownell with 2 points each.

Ionia is 13-2 on the season and 7-1 in the CAAC.

The Bulldogs are off Tuesday and host Lansing Sexton on Friday.
