The Bulldogs hosted Lansing Sexton but fell short, 47-69. Colt Piercefield led Ionia with 11 points, while Spencer Tooker contributed 8 points. Henry Castle and Carter Starks each added 7 points. Tristin Ciganick scored 6 points, and Brent Starks, Ethan Wenzel, and Dawon Leland rounded out the scoring with 2 points apiece.
Ionia now holds a 6-5 record and will host Lansing Catholic on Tuesday.
