The Bulldogs traveled to Lansing Sexton and suffered their first league loss 35-39. Clay Currigan and Lance Atkinson led the Bulldogs with 8 points each. Gauge McQueen added 7 points and Caden Brownell 5 points.
Ionia (6-2, 3-1) will travel to St. Johns on Tuesday.
