The Ionia varsity basketball team raised their record to 3-0 with a 51-35 win over Lakewood. The balanced attack was led by Gauge McQueen with 12 points and Trevor Tooker added 9 points 4 assists and 3 steals. Rounding out the scoring for the Bulldogs were Lance Atkinson with 8 points, Clay Currigan with 7 points and Lane Thomas with 7 points and 7 rebounds.

Ionia is 3-0 on the season and will host Portland on Friday with a 7 PM tip-off.
