CHARLOTTE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 56
Ionia returned home after a 4 game road trip and defeated Charlotte 62-56. The game was never in doubt as Ionia jumped out to a 20-9 first quarter lead, a 35-19 halftime lead and a 52-33 3rd quarter lead.
Nick Szymanski had a double double finishing with 28 points 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Kyle Griffith added 12 points and Tyler Walczak finished with 7 points.
Ionia is now 7-0 in the league and 11-2 overall. They will be back in action next Friday at home vs. Sexton.
