EATON RAPIDS SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 53
The Bulldogs traveled to Eaton Rapids (8-1, 3-1) in CAAC action. Ionia came away with a 56-53 overtime win.
The Bulldogs were down 8 points with 3 minutes to go and battled back to tie the score before 2 FT’s with 3,4 seconds left by ER up 2. Ionia sent it to OT with a full court out bounds pass from Nick Szymanski to Logan Schafer who laid it in at the buzzer. Ionia outscored ER 8-5 in overtime.
Nick Szymanski led the Bulldogs with 25 points. Logan Schafer added 17 points Kyle Griffith added 6 points. Jaden Ross added 10 rebounds.
Ionia is 9-0 on the season and 5-0 in the CAAC white division.
