The Ionia girls bowling team bounced back after a tough loss with a 19-11 win over county rivals Lakewood at Buddies on the Beach.
In team match #1 Ionia totaled 608 pins to Lakewood’s 549 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Adah Drown’s 157 followed by Lena Cox’s 137. In match #2 Ionia totaled 599 pins to Lakewood’s 533 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Kaylynn Wizorek’s 147 followed by Adah Drown’s 143. Ionia won the series 1207 to 1082.
In the 2 Bakers matches the Bulldogs were outscored by the Vikings 216 to 212.
