The Ionia girls bowling team lost a close match 17-13 to the Orioles of CHarlotte at the Ionia Bowling last night.

In team match #1 Ionia totaled 552 pins to Charlotte’s 653 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Adah Drown’s 156 followed by Kaylynn Wizorek’s 133.  In match #2 Ionia totaled 627 pins to Charlotte’s 604 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Adah Drown’s 199 followed by Lena Cox’s 148.  Ionia lost the series 1254 to 1179.

In the 2 Bakers matches the Bulldogs were outscored by the Orioles 239 to 225.

The varsity girls are now 4-4 overall and 4-4 in the league.  The girls will be back in action next Thursday when they take on the Vikings of Lakewood at the Ionia Bowling Alley.
