The Ionia girls bowling team traveled to Char-Lanes to take on the Greyhounds of Eaton Rapids today and came away with a 24-6 win.

In team match #1 Ionia totaled 623 pins to Eaton Rapids 504 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Kaylynn Wizorek’s 181 followed by Lena Cox’s 132.  In match #2 Ionia totaled 533 pins to Eaton Rapids 493 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Kaylynn Wizorek’s 132 followed by Adah Drown’s 129.  Ionia won the series 1156 to 997.

In the 2 Bakers matches the Bulldogs outscored the Greyhounds 271 to 218.

The varsity girls are now 6-4 overall and 6-4 in the league.  The girls will be back in action next Tuesday at their home lanes, the Ionia Bowling Alley, where they will take on the Eagles of Olivet.
