The Ionia Bulldogs hosted Portland for the second home game of the season. It was a rough start for the team as Portland pressured right off the tip. At the end of the first half, Ionia was down 48-11. It was a better third quarter where the Bulldogs outscored Portland 5-4. In the fourth, the team continued to fight; the final score was Ionia 25 and Portland 67. Leading scorers were Bentley Smith with 13 points and Noah Jordan with 6. Anthony Meyer, Maysen Pertner, and Ryder Willingham each chipped in 2 points. The Bulldogs are now 0-4 on the season. Their next game is Monday, November 25 at home against Lakewood.
