FOWLERVILLE JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 43
Tonight Ionia hosted Fowlerville. It was a very competitive game tonight but the Bulldogs were unable to come away with a victory and fell 43-31. Fowlerville took a 21-16 lead into halftime. Ionia cut the lead to 2 points heading into the fourth. Unfortunately, Fowlerville was too much and the Bulldogs were outscored 15-7 in the final quarter. The highlight of the game was how Trevor Castillo played both ends of the floor and continued to show hustle to the very end. He leads all scorers with 15 points. Brunzwik Diehl also had a great shooting night and pitched in 10 points. Braeden Piggott chipped in 4 and Noah Castillo had 2. The Bulldogs are now 1-6. Their next game is Monday, December 5 at Charlotte.
