LANSING CATHOLIC MS: 36
Tonight the Bulldogs played at Lansing Catholic for their second game of the season. It was a close game that would go into overtime. At the end of the first half, Lansing Catholic led 20-16. In the third Ionia was able to outscore Lansing Catholic and take a point lead. At the end of the fourth quarter, the game was tied. In overtime, the Bulldogs were only down by two with 7 seconds left but were unable to come away with a victory. Final score was Ionia 34 and Lansing Catholic 36. Leading scorers were Noah Castillo with 11 points and Trevor Castillo with 10. Other contributors were Colter Reed with 8 points, Patricio Pilar and Braeden Piggott each had 2 points while Seth Peiffer had one. The Bulldogs are now 0-2. Their next game is Monday, November 14 at home against Charlotte.
