FOWLERVILLE JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 29
Tonight the Bulldogs hosted the Gladiators of Fowlerville. This was the first game of the season for both teams. The first quarter saw the Bulldogs jump out to an 11-6 lead and continue to add to it in the second. At halftime, Ionia led 29-19. Ionia continued to execute on offense in the second half and won 66-29. Leading scorers were Elijah Goins with 12 points, Seth Woods with 9 points, and Trevor Hodges with 7. Nine other players scored as well. The Bulldogs are now 1-0. The next game is Wednesday, February 17 at home against Waverly.
