The Lady Dawgs were home for an invitational. During pool play the Lady Dawgs faced Belding, The Lady Dawgs started off playing the Belding Knights. The Lady Dawgs started off slowly but picked up the first set with their serves. The Lady Dawgs were unable to keep up with the Knights strong blocks falling 22-25. For the second set the Lady Dawgs had a lot of aces and picked up the defense to pull through to win the second set 25-20, splitting the game. During the game with Belding, The Lady Dawgs as a team had 11 aces, 4 tips and 7 digs. 

The second game The Lady Dawgs played was against Fowlerville. The Lady Dawgs fight hard with their defense and serves. Fowlerville was strong on the net and The Lady Dawgs could not keep up. The Lady Dawg fell in the first set 22-25. For the second set The Lady Dawgs wanted to win and fought hard to get it. The Lady Dawgs were aggressive and strong as a team. The Lady Dawgs won the second set at cap 27-26. As a team The Lady Dawgs had 9 aces, 5 kills, 3 blocks and 6 digs. 

The Lady Dawgs then went on in pool play to take on Pennfield. During the first set The Lady Dawgs played well, had good defense and aggressive net play. The Lady Dawgs fell in both sets with Pennfield, 22-25, 22-25. As a team The Lady Dawgs had 8 aces, 6 kills, and 4 digs. 

The Lady Dawgs moved into bracket play starting off playing Mason. During the game with Mason The Lady Dawgs were able to move quick, be aggressive, have strong serves. The Lady Dawgs were able to give Mason a run, but then fell after letting a few mistakes get into their head. The Lady Dawgs fell to Mason, 23-25 and 20-25. As a team The Lady Dawgs had 4 aces, 8 kills, and 11 digs. The Lady Dawgs then concluded the day.  

The Lady Dawgs will be on the road Tuesday 10/04 facing Lansing Sexton playing at 5pm. The Lady Dawgs will be home for a Quad Thursday 10/06 5pm.
