The Ionia Freshmen Girls Volleyball team team beat Portland in 2 games. The Bulldogs won 25-23 and 25-21. Kenadie McCoy had 3 kills, 1 ace, and 4 digs. Skye Currigan, Jordyn Ciganick, Gena Roger's, and Brooklynn Nash all contributed 1 kill. Ava Bowen had 6 assists, 11 great passes, and 2 aces on the night.  Ella Bouwhuis had 7 digs.

The Bulldogs are now 16-14-1 for the season. They play again October 30 at home in a tri meet for their final game of the year.
