The Ionia Lady Dawgs went to Saranac High School to play against Saranac and Hastings. 

The Lady Dawgs started off playing Hastings. The Lady Dawgs took a little while to get going and when they did there was no stopping them. The Lady Dawgs were very aggressive and played well as a team. The Lady Dawgs pulled ahead in their serve and net play. The Lady Dawgs won the first set 25-14. The Lady Dawgs we're unable to keep a hold of serve receive and fell to Hastings during the second set 20-25. The Lady Dawgs stepped out on the court for the third set in a fight with Hastings. The Lady Dawgs were able to pull the win 15-11 and win the match against Hastings. 

After a quick break for line judging and keeping score The Lady Dawgs faced Saranac. During the first set The Lady Dawgs were able to pull the lead and keep it with a lot of tips and kills. The Lady Dawgs made sure to keep the ball in play and make the effort to win the first set 25-17. During the second set The Lady Dawgs continued with strong serves and had strong team atmosphere. The Lady Dawgs won the second set to Saranac 25-14. 

Playing Hastings the team had 18 aces and 13 tips/kills. 

Playing Saranac the team had 11 aces, 21 kills/tips and 10 digs. 

The Lady Dawgs will have their next home game on Tuesday 9/20 at 5pm (Purple Game!).  On Thursday 9/22 the Lady Dawgs are on the road to Ovid Elsie 5pm.
