WAVERLY SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 2
The Ionia Lady Dogs were unable to pull through to beat the Waverly Warriors. The Lady Dogs started off with strong defense and good serve receive. The Waverly Warriors were able to fight back and start a great offense. The Lady Dogs had a little bit of a mental block and lack of communication, but kept pushing and gaining a lead just to fall short to the Waverly Warriors.
Kathryn Brown had five aces, four kills and one assist.
Lilly Reams had eight assists.
McKenna Bussell had three aces and 5 digs.
Victoria Gutierrez had six digs.
Victoria Banks had nine digs and one assist.
Emma White had five kills.
Mimose Sandborn had seven digs and two kills.
