Ionia Bulldogs beat St. John’s 53-49
Ionia Freshmen Basketball won at home against St. John's 53-49 in Overtime. Ionia took the lead early and finished the first half 27-15. Second half St. John's chipped away the lead and tied it up at the end of the game to put it into Overtime. The Bulldogs finished strong knocking down some critical Free Throws to seal the game. The Bulldogs were lead by Mason Doty with 12 pts, Hobbs Pinnow and Jacob Montgomery each with 11 pts, Max Doty 10 pts, Carter Castillo 3 pts, and Matt McCoy, Tyson McDiarmid and Gage Flanner each with 2 pts. The Bulldogs play away against Lansing Sexton on Saturday at 4 PM. Bulldogs are now 7-2 on the season.
