ST. JOHNS HIGH SCHOOL: 137
The Ionia Swimming and Diving Team lost to St Johns high school Tuesday night 137 to 41. There were some great races and PRs but in the end Ionia did not have the numbers to compete with St Johns. Christian Martinez PR'ed in the 50 freestyle, and Triston Asher PR'ed in the 100 yard freestyle. Carl Goeckel placed 1st in the 200 yard IM and 100 yard backstroke. The team of Jaxxon Thelen, Seth Wandell, Brendin Bushee, and Christian Martinez placed 2nd in the 200 yard medly relay. As well as many more 3rd and 4th place finishes.
