Ionia improves their record to 6-0 and 2-0 in league play. Ionia will play at Saranac on Wednesday, April 27th and then host Hastings on Thursday, April 28th. 

• Ionia HS Bulldogs Varsity's three pitchers didn't allow a single hit, as Ionia HS Bulldogs Varsity defeated Sexton 17-1 on Tuesday. Kane Lundstrom got #1 to hit into a fielder's choice to get the last out of the game.
• Ionia HS Bulldogs Varsity secured the victory thanks to 12 runs in the first inning. The rally was led by singles by Miles Gregory, Carter Castillo, Austin Hillabrandt, and Ethan Castillo, doubles by Ethan Bowen and Bowen, a walk by Castillo, by Tyson McDiarmid, and a groundout by Daniel McCoy.
• Bowen took the win for Ionia HS Bulldogs Varsity. Bowen allowed zero hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out three and walking zero. Lundstrom and Garrett Lee entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
