4/22 Game #1 Ionia Bulldogs Varsity Falls To Portland Raiders Varsity On Walk-Off

A walk-off left Ionia Bulldogs Varsity on the wrong end of a 7-6 defeat to portland raiders varsity on Thursday. The game was tied at six with portland raiders varsity batting in the bottom of the eighth when an error scored one run for portland raiders varsity.

Despite the loss, Ionia Bulldogs Varsity did collect eight hits in the high-scoring affair. 4/23 Game #2 Ionia Bulldogs Varsity Stymied By Portland Raiders Varsity, Lose 14-5

Ionia Bulldogs Varsity had a tough time generating runs on Thursday, dropping their game with portland raiders varsity 14-5. Ionia Bulldogs Varsity got on the board in the first inning. Cal Yalacki was hit by a pitch, driving in a run.

portland raiders varsity pulled away for good with ten runs in the second inning. In the second an error scored one run for portland raiders varsity, Nobis grounded out, scoring one run, Bush doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs, and Williams singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Trielweiler led things off on the mound for portland raiders varsity. The hurler surrendered five runs on ten hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking one.
