HOLT MIDDLE SCHOOL: 36
The IMS girls track team opened their season in Holt on Wednesday night, competing in dual meets against the Rams of Holt and the Redwings of St. Johns. Ionia won both meets, beating Holt 92-36, and St. Johns 72-48. This was the first time a lot of our runners had ever ran in a track meet, so it was a great learning opportunity for all. Below are the highlights from the evening:
The Bulldogs will travel to Alma on Friday to compete in the Panther Track Classic.
