The Ionia Middle School girls track team traveled to Pewamo-Westphalia on Thursday, May 27th to compete in the Last Chance Meet.  This meet provides athletes one last chance to set personal records and earn a spot at the Honor Roll meet.  The teams finished in the following order: Fowler (115), P-W (114), Central Montcalm (87), Capital Homeschool (80), Alma (72), Lansing Area Catholic (39), Ionia (12), and Our Savior Lutheran (4).

The top 6 finishers in each event will earn points for their team (10-8-6-4-2-1).  Scoring points for the Bulldogs were:

Ella Udell - 3rd place finish in the 100m dash (14.40 PR), and 6th place in the 70m dash (10.58 PR).

Katelyn Lamphere - 4th place finish in pole vault with a jump of 6'6.

Sadie Roberts - 6th place finish in shot put with a throw of 28'6.5 

The Bulldogs will finish their season at home next Wednesday, June 2 against Charlotte.
