The Ionia Middle School track teams hosted the 13th annual Tom Foy Relay Invitational on Friday. Schools competing included: Belding, Ithaca, Mason, Pewamo-Westphalia, Central Montcalm, Hastings, Ionia, and Charlotte. The Lady Bulldogs finished in 8th place with 29 points.
Scoring points for the Bulldogs were:
Ella Udell - 6th place - 100m dash (15.34)
Amelia McGee, Kylie Leonard, Katie Leonard, JoAnna Platte - 5th place - 4x100 relay team (1:02.13).
Maudy Baylis, Paislie Patterson, Tessa Masengale, Carleigh Thompson - 6th place - Distance Relay (17:02).
Molly Waterman, Abella Woodard, Mimi Wegener, Isabelel Vasquez - 3rd place - 55m shuttle hurdles (44.74).
Sadie Roberts and Kennedy Batista - 2nd place - shot put
Katelyn Lamphere and Mimi Wegener - 3rd place - pole vault
The Bulldogs will travel to Portland on Wednesday, May 26th for their next meet.
