HAYES MIDDLE SCHOOL: 79
The IMS Girls track team hosted Grand Ledge on Wednesday, May 13th. The team finished just behind Grand Ledge, with a score of 57-79. The girls continued to improve this season with many athletes setting personal records, including:
Mariya Berry - 70m (12.26), Addison Bowne - 100m (17.87), Chloe Sullivan - 200m (36.79), Paislie Patterson - 400m (1:15.55), Emma McCarty - 1600m (8:47.91), Victoria Hixson - 55m hurdles (13.91), Isabelle Vasquez - 200m hurdles (37.66), Isabelle Robinson - shot put (16-08), Amelia McGee - high jump (4-00), Katelyn Lamphere - pole vault (6-00), and Charlotte Garrison - long jump (7-01.5).
In addition, the 4 x 400 relay team of Charly Smith, Maudy Baylis, Tessa Masengale, and JoAnna Platte finished in 1st place with a time of 5:17.94.
The Bulldogs will face Dewitt at Home next Wednesday, May 19th.
