HOLT MIDDLE SCHOOL: 72
The IMS boys track team opened their season in Holt on Wednesday night, competing in a dual meet against the Rams of Holt and the Redwings of St. Johns. Ionia defeated St. Johns 86-41, but fell just short to Holt, 56-72. This was the first time a lot of our runners had ever ran in a track meet, so it was a great learning opportunity for all. Below are the highlights from the evening:
The Bulldogs will travel to Alma on Friday to compete in the Panther Track Classic.
