NORTH BRANCH AREA HIGH SCHOOL: 0
Ionia Powerlifting competed on Sunday 3/8/20 in North Branch at the Varsity Michigan High School Powerlifting State Meet. Ionia took 9 athletes to the meet and placed 5 in the top ten.
For the Women Ionia’s Olivia beastrom placed 8th and Madison Daugherty placed 6th.
On the Men’s side Caleb French placed 7th, Dylan Wohlsheid placed 4th, and Kayleb Bastien took the State Championship in the 242 wgt class.
The Varsity State meet hosted 385 athletes representing 110 schools from all over the entire State of Michigan.
