The Ionia girls bowling team fell in a close match 15.5 to 14.5 to the Cougars of Lansing Catholic at City Limits East today.
In team match #1 Ionia totaled 617 pins to Lansing Catholic’s 651 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Sydney Estep’s 209 followed by Lena Cox’s 126. In match #2 Ionia totaled 583 pins to Lansing Catholic’s 586 pins, the Bulldogs were again led by Sydney Estep’s 138 Lena Cox’s 117. Ionia Lost the series 1237 to 1200.
