The Ionia girls bowling team started the New Year with a 17-13 win over the Greyhounds of Eaton Rapids on their home lanes at the Ionia Bowling Alley.
In team match #1 Ionia totaled 629 pins to Eaton Rapid’s 619 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Sydney Estep’s 166 followed by Lena Cox’s and Elena Lance’s 129. In match #2 Ionia totaled 527 pins to Eaton Rapid’s 513 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Elena Lance’s 159 and Kaylynn Wizorek’s 98. Ionia lost the series 1156 to 1232.
In the 2 Bakers matches the Bulldogs outscored the Greyhounds 227 to 204.
