The Ionia girls opened their season with a 24-6 loss to Hastings on their home lanes at the Ionia Bowling Alley.
In team match #1 Ionia totaled 493 pins to Hasting’s 721 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Sydney Estep’s 136 followed by Lena Cox’s 99. In match #2 Ionia totaled 533 pins to Hasting’s 582 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Elena Lance’s 127 and Sydney Estep’s 111. Ionia lost the series 1026 to 1303.
In the 2 Bakers matches the Bulldogs were outscored by the Saxons team 221 to 218.
