The Ionia girls bowling team beat the Pirates of Pewamo-Westphalia 17-13 in a non-conference match at the Ionia Bowling Alley.
In team match #1 Ionia totaled 569 pins to PW's 465 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Sydney Estep’s 145 and Elaina Lance’s 119. In match #2 Ionia totaled 634 pins to PW’s 579 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Chloe Witter’s 153 and Zoey Guernsey’s 137. Ionia won the series 1203 to 1044.
In the 2 Bakers matches the Bulldogs were outscored by the Pirates 233 to 220.
