The Ionia girls bowling team defeated the Comets of Grand Ledge 25-5 at the Char-Lanes on Friday.
In team match #1 Ionia totaled 672 pins to Grand Ledge’s 549 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Zoey Guernsey’s 162 and Chloe Witter’s 161. In match #2 Ionia totaled 6436 pins to Grand Ledge’s 546 pins, the Bulldogs were again led by Zoey Guernsey’s 162 and Chloe Witter’s 139. Ionia took the series 1298 to 1095.
In the 2 Bakers matches the Bulldogs outscored the Comets 278-242.
