The Ionia Girls Bowling team had 4 bowlers compete at the CAAC Singles Championships on Saturday in what was a modified event due the restrictions Covid-19 have had on the season.  The event took place at Royal Scot with total of 47 bowlers from the 13 teams that make up the Blue and Red divisions of the CAAC.

Mason’s Grace Whipple (top left in photo of top ten finishers) captured the title in the 2021 CAAC Girls singles bowling Championships with a six game block of 1214.  Holt’s Angelita Mireles was runner-up with a 1210 total.  Rounding out the top ten were Adrianna Good of Charlotte at 1189, Adrianna Thomas of Mason at 1182, Alexis Breach of Mason at 1174, Montana Hernandez of DeWitt at 1160, Abigail Mather of Charlotte at 1122, Emilee Hendershot of Mason at 1061, Zoey Guernsey of Ionia at 1046 and Leigha Rue of Mason at 1041. 

The Bulldogs were led by Zoey Guernsy's 9th place finish, followed by Madison Erridge 16th, Chloe Witter 26th and Sydney Estep 40th.  Click here for scores of all participants in the 2021 event.
