GRAND LEDGE HIGH SCHOOL: 6
The Ionia girls bowling team defeated Grand Ledge 24-6 in their home opener at the Ionia Bowling Alley to get their first win of the season. It was the first night they were able to field a full team thanks to some new additions.
In the team match Ionia totaled 500 pins to Grand Ledge’s 506. The bulldogs were led by Zoey Guernsey who rolled a 168.
In the 4 Bakers matches Ionia outscored Grand Ledge 428-378 sweeping all 4 matches.
