The Girls Track and Field Team totaled up 22 PR's on their way to raising their CAAC League Dual Meet Record to 4-0 and their overall record to 4-1.  The girls finished 1st in 11 of 17 Events.  First place finishers included; Tess Griffith in the pole Vault (7'-6"), Brynn Reams in both the Shot Put (34'-6") and the Discus (113'-1"), The 100 Meter Dash was won by Hailey Fuentes (13.72), Paige Castillo in the 200 (30.73), Angelyn Hyde won the 400 Meter Dash in 1:07.11, the 800 Meter was won by  Avery Roundtree 2:44.80 and Clara Deeren won both the 1600(6:05.77) and the 3200 in 13:35.62. Ionia got firsts in both the 4 X 800 Relay (11:56.17) Avery Roundtree, Clara Deeren, Jordyn Diebel, and Angelyn Hyde and the 4 x 400 Relay (4:38.75) Maddie McGee, Avery Roundtree, Angelyn Hyde, and Maddie Hanulcick.

    The Lady Bulldogs are next in action on Friday May 7th at the Shepherd BlueJay Invitational and then again on Tuesday in CAAC White Conference Action in Eaton Rapids.
