LANSING CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL: 63
The Ionia Girls collected many PR's on their way to defeat the Cougars of Lansing Catholic Monday night. The meet came down to the final event; the 4 X 400 Relay. The team of Izzy Lopez, Avery Roundtree, Angelyn Hyde, and Maddie Hanulcick won the event to give Ionia the 73-63 win. Even though this event was the final event to give Ionia the win, that possibility was set up by the efforts and performances of the entire team.
Ionia's next meet is Friday at Charlotte and is an 8 team Invitational. The next CAAC Action will be Tursday at Home against Lansing Sexton, Portland, and Charlotte. The Ionia Girls are 1-1 over all in dual meet records and 1-0 in the CAAC White Conference.
